How we are regulated
We operate as a for hire carrier of goods in Ontario. Our operations are subject to the Highway Traffic Act and its regulations, including the conditions of carriage prescribed by Ontario Regulation 643/05, which apply to every shipment we carry. Where dangerous goods are involved, the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, 1992 and its regulations apply as well.
Our commercial vehicle operator registration is shown above once it has been issued and recorded.
The documents that govern our services
Different parts of the relationship are governed by different documents. This is which is which.
- Conditions of carriage
- The terms on which we accept and carry freight, including our liability limits and how to raise them. These are the terms that matter if a shipment is damaged.
- Claims procedure
- How to file a claim for loss, damage or non delivery, the deadlines, and how a claim is valued.
- Accessorial charges and fuel surcharge
- What makes up a freight bill and when each additional charge applies.
- Website terms of use
- The terms for using this website itself, including the quote request form and shipment tracking.
- Privacy policy
- What personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to see or correct it.
- Cookies and analytics
- Every cookie this website sets, and what we do not do.
- Accessibility statement
- The accessibility standard we build to, and how to ask for an accessible format or communication support.
Where a document you have signed with us differs from any of these pages, the signed document governs.
Sending us a formal notice
- A notice sent by post to our business address above is effective when it is delivered.
- You can also email a notice to the address below, and for anything time sensitive, such as a claim, email is the better route because it date stamps itself. If a notice matters legally, send it by both.
- Claim notices have their own deadlines. See the claim deadlines.
How to reach us
Write to us by email or by post. Email reaches us fastest. If your message is about a specific shipment, quote the waybill number so we can find it.
