We run Toronto freight out of the yard at 36 Taber Rd in Rexdale, about 25 km from the downtown core by road. Your skids share a truck with other shippers and you pay for the space they take.
Our drivers work the industrial pockets rather than the towers: the Stockyards and the Junction off Keele, Weston Road north of St Clair, Downsview around Sheppard and Keele, the Golden Mile along Eglinton East, Leaside, and the Port Lands south of Lake Shore. If your dock is in one of those, we know the street.
Most Toronto runs leave the yard on Highway 401 and come off at the exit nearest your dock. Downtown and the Port Lands go down the 427 to the Gardiner instead. East-end stops in Scarborough stay on the 401 the whole way.
A lot of Toronto industrial stock was built before 53 ft trailers were normal, so the yard is tight and the dock may sit at the wrong height. Tell us what the approach looks like and we send the truck that fits it.
Palletized business freight: a supplier restocking a shop, a manufacturer sending finished goods to a distributor, stock moving between two of your own locations. If it is not on a pallet, we are the wrong carrier.

Yes, if the receiving address is a business with somewhere for a straight truck to stop. Downtown loading is usually a timed window or an underground bay, so tell us which on the quote.
The truck's power liftgate lowers the skid to the ground. Flag the tailgate on the quote so we price it there rather than at the door.
